Snow day in Langford, my poor bulbs won't be liking the cold but at least they still look like spring is on the way.

57/365 for saturday

Griffin and his parents came over for dinner tonight. Since the kids didn't nap much and weren't on their best behaviour we decided to put on a movie for the kids while we ate dinner in peace. Well we didn't think that we would lose the fathers to the movie also.

Griffin's messy playdoh visit.

Our first visit to the Shaw Ocean Discovery Aquarium in Sydney. Teagan loved looking at all the gorgeous fish but didn't really enjoy touching anything in the touch tank.

A windy afternoon at the Esquimalt Lagoon with Teagan, Johnny and some stale bread.

Tonight Teagan and I went for a visit to our percussion friends. We couldn't keep Teagan away from any of the drums and she loved the African Boot Dance. She got to play the djembe with the big kids, the smile on her face was so infectious. We have a little musician and stage monkey on our hands. Watch out in a few years for her name in lights.

I was planning on taking a picture of my home made chicken souvlaki with tatziki, but John and I were so hungry that I forgot to bring out the camera. At least I remembered to show you how plate licken good it was. Yummo

While going out for my walk this afternoon, I noticed most of my spring bulbs were poking out of the ground. Yippee, I love this time of year.

50/365 for saturday

Gotta catch the cereal monster. This monster leaves its droppings all over the floor and I keep stepping on them. I think this is this same monster that steals Teagan's socks right off her feet, but only her left one

Auntie Stephanie told me about these cute cucumbers, I had to buy them for my veggie lover. Actually they are better looking than they taste. Oh well they are adorable.

At Kairi's 3rd birthday party at the gymnastics school, Teagan didn't quite know how to blow into the noise maker. She finally figured it out.

Cute little feet in a row.

Bought myself some tulips to brighten up the house on this dreary February day.

Changing the sheets is such a chore, but not when you have a little Teagan helping you. It takes a lot longer but it is much more fun.

Both John and I actually woke up before Teagan this morning. So I ran and got my camera to document this moment. She's so sweet when sleeping and she woke up with a huge smile for mom and dad.

I was just outside freezing my buns off trying to perfect my moon shots through the trees. Didn't work tonight. Tomorrow is the full moon anyway, I will try again. I did happen to quickly take this one of the lights on the fence.

Going over to mom's place for dinner with Teagan, I noticed the gorgeous sunset across the street. Dad ran in to fetch the camera and I got this shot. Not the best but it's an urban Langford sunset.

Tonight we celebrated Chad's birthday with my other family. A party isn't a party without cake pops, nerf wars, Eeyore, and plumber's bum.

Aaron came over for a little visit today, they were so cute playing together. Here they are watching the original Robin Hood cartoon.

Teagan's favorite lunch right now is a "sammich". With such a big bite as this one you would think she would get something, but no, all she got was the cucumber. But she was very happy with only that.

shovelling as much as she can in.
